Great post-rock from this Finnish band. While still adhering to the cathartic protocol of loud / quiet dynamics, this LP also explores a neo-classical minimalism, not unlike some aspects of Mono. But, what I really love is the darkly lit drones that flicker in and out of the songs like spectral daydreams. brantly

The Singer Is Dead's self titled album from 2014 was brilliant and so is \\. Their enjoyment in playing music shines through and the album is full of quirky gutiar playing. Really, really great stuff. hector
